Senior Cloud Native Security Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

We are supporting a global enterprise technology organization in hiring a senior-level Cloud Native Security Engineer to support large-scale cloud security and detection engineering initiatives.

This position focuses on highly scalable cloud-native platforms, microservices architecture, cloud security engineering, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable cloud-native security services
• Build microservices and reusable platform components
• Support enterprise cloud security and detection engineering initiatives
• Work closely with distributed engineering and platform teams
• Support Kubernetes, containers, APIs and cloud-native infrastructure
• Conduct code reviews, testing and operational improvements
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems environments
• Drive reliability, scalability and security best practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Cloud Native / Platform Engineering / DevSecOps
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
• Strong knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP cloud environments
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Programming experience in Go, Python or Java
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC or similar technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capability
• Japanese communication capability (JLPT N2 preferred)
• Comfortable supporting Japan business hours

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud security or cybersecurity product experience
• Kafka / Splunk / real-time processing exposure
• AI / ML security understanding
• Golang development experience
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud platforms

Employment Details:

• Remote working arrangement
• 12 months renewable contract

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
