Responsibilities:

IT Audit & Risk Assessment

• Plan and execute IT audit assignments covering IT General Controls (ITGC), application controls, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and system processes
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management practices
• Perform risk assessments to identify control gaps, operational risks, and compliance issues
• Review system access controls, change management, backup processes, incident management, and IT security controls

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards
• Assess compliance with frameworks and standards such as COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001 & Internal audit methodologies
• Support internal and external audit exercises where required

Audit Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations in a clear and professional manner
• Discuss audit observations with stakeholders and recommend practical corrective actions
• Follow up on audit findings and monitor remediation progress

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and business teams during audit activities
• Provide advisory support on IT control improvements and risk mitigation initiatives
• Participate in process improvement and governance-related projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT Audit / IT Risk / IT Compliance preferably within banking or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), Risk assessment, Internal controls & IT governance frameworks
• Familiar with audit framework such as COSO, COBIT & ISO27001
• Experience in preparing audit reports and managing audit documentation
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple audit assignments independently
• Exposure to cybersecurity, data governance, or cloud environments will be an added advantage

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
