Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of statutory audit assignments for SMEs and companies from various industries
• Prepare and finalize audit working papers, audited financial statements, and related reports
• Perform audit fieldwork, substantive testing, analytical review, and audit documentation
• Review clients’ accounting records, supporting documents, and financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with approved accounting standards, auditing standards, and statutory requirements
• Liaise with clients regarding audit schedules, financial information, and audit matters
• Identify audit issues, internal control weaknesses, and follow up on outstanding matters
• Assist in tax computation, SST matters, and other accounting/audit related assignments when required
• Meet audit deadlines and reporting timelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years experience in external/statutory audit
• Experience in accounting or audit firm preferred
• Knowledge in accounting standards, financial reporting, and audit procedures
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Independent and responsible in handling audit assignments
