The Royal Albatross is looking for a passionate and energetic Bartender to join our onboard hospitality team. If you enjoy crafting cocktails, engaging with guests, and working in a dynamic luxury environment by the sea, we’d love to meet you.

This is more than a bartending job — it’s an opportunity to work aboard one of Asia’s most iconic tall ships and deliver unforgettable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages according to company standards
• Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and portion control
• Recommend beverages based on guest preferences
• Deliver fast and accurate service during busy cruise operations

Guest Experience

• Provide warm, attentive, and professional hospitality
• Engage guests to create a memorable luxury cruise experience
• Handle guest feedback professionally and efficiently
• Represent the Royal Albatross brand with confidence and positivity

Bar Operations & Cleanliness

• Set up and close the bar according to daily operational procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area
• Ensure proper care of glassware, bar tools, and equipment
• Follow operational checklists and SOPs consistently

Inventory & Stock Control

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages
• Assist with stock takes and inventory management
• Minimize wastage, breakage, and spillage
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of beverage items

Safety & Team Support

• Follow all onboard safety and hygiene procedures
• Practice responsible alcohol service
• Support cruise operations, events, and private charters when required
• Work closely with service crew, kitchen, and operations teams

What We’re Looking ForRequirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience (hospitality, events, restaurant, or cruise experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar operations
• Friendly personality with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods
• Able to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Bonus Points If You Have

• Bartending or mixology certification
• Food Hygiene / Food Safety certification
• Experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or onboard service
