About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring English Tutor to guide primary and secondary school students in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging lesson plans, building foundational skills, and preparing students for key examinations (PSLE, O-Levels). Your goal will be to boost students' confidence, mastery, and love for the English language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver structured, student-centric English lessons tailored to individual learning needs and MOE syllabus requirements.
• Teach and strengthen core components: Comprehension (Open-Ended & Cloze), Composition (Situational & Continuous Writing), Grammar, Vocabulary, and Oral Communication.
• Diagnose student weaknesses, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective strategies for improvement.
• Familiarise students with examination formats (PSLE, O-Level) and equip them with essential techniques and time-management skills.
• Regularly assess progress, provide progress reports to parents/guardians, and maintain clear communication.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and disciplined learning environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma/Degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. Current undergraduates in relevant disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Experience: Proven tutoring/teaching experience at primary or secondary levels in Singapore. Fresh graduates with a strong academic record and a passion for teaching may be considered.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the latest MOE English syllabus, PSLE, and GCE O-Level requirements.
• Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English. Patient, creative, and able to motivate students of varying abilities.
• Traits: Responsible, punctual, professional, and possesses a strong work ethic.
• Preferred: Candidates with prior teaching experience in local schools or reputable tuition centres will have an advantage.
