Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical QA & Validation Specialist to join our global team. This role is responsible for the rigorous testing and verification of secure applications and certificate lifecycle management (CLM) tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Certificate Deployment Validation: Verify the successful installation and binding of TLS/SSL certificates on Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPNs, and cloud applications to ensure secure end-to-end connectivity.
• Web Infrastructure & Server Testing: Perform functional and connectivity testing across diverse web server and application hosting environments. Ensure consistent HTTPS integrity, protocol compliance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• API Testing & Validation: Validate RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, curl, or other standard utilities to ensure proper request/response handling and secure CLM integration.
• Test Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to streamline repetitive validation tasks and improve regression testing efficiency.
• Multi-Platform QA: Execute test cases across various operating systems—including Mobile (Android/iOS) and Desktop (Windows, Linux, macOS)—to ensure seamless functional performance.
• Documentation: Use browser developer tools and system traces to capture logs and reproduction steps; provide structured reports to the Lead.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–4 years in Software Testing, Technical QA, or a security-focused technical role.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of TLS/SSL handshakes, certificate chains, and the integration of certificates within AD/Entra ID or MDM environments.
• API & Connectivity Tools: Proficiency with curl, Postman, or equivalent tools. Experience using OpenSSL for certificate inspection is a significant plus.
• Scripting & Automation: Ability to write and modify scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate connectivity checks or data validation tasks.
• Advanced Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency in traffic analysis and protocol inspection using tools such as Wireshark or other TLS interception utilities, alongside expert use of browser Developer Tools (Console, Network, and Security tabs).

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) or specialized cryptographic hardware.
• Familiarity with PKI automation protocols (e.g., SCEP, EST, ACME).
• Basic understanding of network capture decryption (using (pre)-master secrets).

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
