Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Support preparation of monthly financial reports, management accounts, and basic financial statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Ensure proper compilation and submission of e-Invoice records to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing SST, WHT, and other statutory submissions such as EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.
  • Prepare supporting documents for external and internal audits.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and proper filing of financial documents.
  • Process staff claims and verify supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities when required.
  • Support finance team in monthly closing activities and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with payroll checking and administrative finance tasks.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience will have an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., IFCA or similar systems).
  • Understanding of local tax regulations and statutory compliance is an advantage.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
