We are looking for a proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support both pre-contract and post-contract commercial functions across development projects.

This role provides exposure to tendering, procurement and developer-side commercial management, offering strong learning and career growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-off and assist in cost estimation, pricing and tendering

• Source quotations and assist in comparison, evaluation and negotiation

• Review drawings and specifications for cost assessment and scope requirements

• Review contractor progress claims and verify work done

• Prepare, review and track variation claims and cost impact

• Assist in final account preparation and cost tracking

• Support procurement of materials and trade packages

• Liaise with consultants, contractors and project teams on commercial matters

• Attend site visits and verify work progress when required

• Maintain cost report, project documentation and support overall commercial management

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying

• Min. 2 - 4 years’ of working experience with Quantity Surveying within the construction industry

• Experience in tendering and post-contract work is an advantage

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently

• Good communication skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
