Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Production - Engineering Technician (Fresh Graduates Encouraged to Apply) di SONT PHOTONICS Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in installation, operation, and maintenance of production equipment to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing processes.

2. Perform equipment setup, calibration, and routine inspections according to SOPs.

3. Support process engineers and production teams in troubleshooting equipment and resolving technical issues on the production floor.

4. Conduct basic testing, measurements, and data collection for optical and electronic components.

5. Maintain accurate equipment logs, maintenance records, and process documentation.

6. Support preventive maintenance and minor repairs of production machinery and related tools.

7. Ensure compliance with safety, cleanroom, and ESD requirements during equipment operation and maintenance.

8. Assist in process improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and efficiency enhancement initiatives.

9. Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits related to equipment and process readiness.

10. Perform ad-hoc technical duties as assigned by supervisors or engineers.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Optical Engineering, or related technical field.

2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, or maintenance is an advantage.

3. Basic knowledge of production equipment, test instruments, and manufacturing processes.

4. Hands-on skills in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.

5. Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, ESD control, and safety procedures.

6. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

7. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, production, and quality teams.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel; experience with MES / ERP systems is a plus.
