About the role

Hai Loong Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced AutoCad Drafter to join our team in Sungai Nibong, Penang. This full-time role is a key position within our Engineering department, responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs to support our engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Create and modify 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings to an exceptionally high standard

• Interpret engineering specifications and sketches to produce detailed technical drawings

• Ensure drawings comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations and company policies

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to understand and meet their requirements

• Maintain an organised filing system for technical drawings and design documents

• Provide support and guidance to junior drafting staff as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an AutoCAD Drafter in an engineering or manufacturing environment

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software and excellent technical drawing skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and specifications

• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, regulations and best practices

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, drafting or a related technical field
