Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Join our team as an Account Executive, reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping our financial processes while leading a dedicated accounting team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Lead and mentor Account Officers focused on Accounts Payable (AP) and inventory management, ensuring excellence in financial reporting and compliance.
• Financial Closing: Manage monthly and quarterly period-end closing processes, including accrual accounting and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Compliance Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate corporate and statutory compliance reporting.
• Tax Support: Assist in Malaysian tax compliance for Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax (WHT), and collaborate with external auditors as required.
• Accounting Operations: Prepare and post accounting journals, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and conduct fluctuation analysis.
• Problem Solving: Act as a trusted advisor on accounting processes for operational departments, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Transaction Oversight: Coordinate accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Inventory Management: Oversee and monitor inventory accounting practices, collaborating with operations to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience: 5 years in general and/or financial accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Proven capability to recommend and implement process improvements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount Accounting System) and ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective presentations to peers and management.
