Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding (including Foreign Workers):

o Adapt to diverse recruitment needs, including the hiring of foreign workers, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process.

o Oversee job postings, coordinate interviews, screen candidates, and prepare offer letters for both local and foreign employees.

o Manage the documentation and approval process for hiring foreign workers, ensuring compliance with immigration and labor laws.

o Facilitate the onboarding process to ensure both local and foreign employees integrate smoothly into the company, providing necessary orientation and training.

2. Foreign Worker Management & Hostel Application:

o Manage the complete lifecycle of foreign workers, including onboarding, documentation, and day-to-day concerns.

o Ensure all foreign workers have valid work permits, visas, and related documents, liaising with government departments for renewals and approvals.

o Oversee hostel arrangements for foreign workers, including securing accommodations, handling government applications, and ensuring compliance with regulations related to employee housing.

o Conduct regular inspections and address any issues related to worker accommodations, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

3. Employee Relations & Communication:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, including those related to foreign workers, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

o Foster positive relationships with employees at all organizational levels, including assisting foreign workers in adapting to the local work environment.

o Provide expert guidance on HR policies and procedures to both employees and management, including those relevant to foreign labor regulations.

4. Performance Management:

o Collaborate with department heads to establish clear performance goals and expectations for both local and foreign employees.

o Manage performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.

o Address performance-related issues and assist in developing performance improvement plans.

5. Compliance, Documentation & Government Liaison (including Foreign Workers):

o Ensure all HR practices align with Malaysian labor laws and immigration regulations for foreign workers.

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including work permits, visas, and other documents required for foreign workers.

o Liaise with government departments such as the Immigration Department, Ministry of Human Resources, and other regulatory bodies to manage foreign worker permits, renewals, and compliance.

o Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the employment of foreign workers, including audits by the relevant government authorities.

6. Problem-Solving & Adaptability:

o Assess and respond promptly to new challenges, demonstrating independent problem-solving abilities.

o Develop innovative solutions for HR-related issues, exercising sound judgment and initiative.

o Maintain composure and professionalism in a dynamic work environment.

7. Payroll & Benefits Administration:

o Support payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees.

o Assist in administering employee benefits, including leave management, insurance, and bonuses.

o Conduct salary benchmarking to facilitate compensation adjustments as needed.

8. Training & Development:

o Identify opportunities for employee training and development to enhance skills and career growth.

o Organize internal and external training programs aimed at boosting employee performance and productivity.

9. ISO Audit & Compliance:

o Ensure the company’s HR practices and documentation comply with ISO standards and participate in internal and external ISO audits.

10. Project Management:

o Lead or participate in HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and process improvements.

o Collaborate with other departments to promote organizational development and optimize HR processes.

11. Additional Responsibilities:

o Execute other tasks or projects as assigned by management to support departmental objectives and company goals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
