Job Function / Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize and implement comprehensive plans for both corrective and preventive activities to ensure smooth operation of electrical installations.
- Responsible for carrying out duties of chargeman as required under Electrical Act and Regulation (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- Liaise with utilities providers and local authorities to ensure compliance with laws including OSHA, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other regulatory governing bodies.
- Carry out daily inspection and monitoring for HT & LV switchboards, transformers, switchgear and incoming TNB supply.
- To perform daily substation, walk about and oversee maintenance and housekeeping for the substation room and related machinery.
- Perform schedule inspections and testing of standby fire pumps and other plant facilities equipment and any other task as assigned by Department Head.
- Monitor and ensure new installations and maintenance are safely done, correct and according to law.
- To install, repair, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on all electrical and electronic systems and factory machinery.
Job Specification / Requirements :
- Preferable with 5 years of related working experience.
- Possess a BO Competency Certificate in Electrical Chargeman issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission)
- Able to communicate and have written good written skills in Bahasa and English.
- Able to read electrical circuit diagrams and electrical troubleshooting.
