Assistant Accounting & Tax Manager

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Accounting and Tax Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and tax for our clients, from bookkeeping and financial reporting to tax preparation and filing. You will also be responsible for supervising a team of accounting and tax professionals.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and file accurate and timely financial statements for clients, in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)

  • Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for clients, in accordance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations

  • Provide tax advice and planning to clients

  • Manage a team of accounting and tax professionals

  • Review and approve the work of accounting and tax professionals

  • Stay up-to-date on changes in Malaysian accounting and tax laws and regulations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

  • Professional accounting qualification, such as CPA or ACCA

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and tax

  • Experience in managing a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
