About the Role
Enercon Power Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated and client-focused Sales Engineer to support business growth in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and digital energy solutions.
This is a consultative role, where you will work closely with clients to understand their energy needs and provide expert guidance on suitable solutions. The focus will be on promoting energy advisory services, recommended improvement measures, and digital platforms, while supporting clients in evaluating options such as solar and other energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote and drive sales of energy advisory services and efficiency improvement solutions
• Act as a trusted consultant to clients by recommending suitable energy and sustainability solutions, including solar and other EE technologies
• Present and promote different digital platforms for energy/ solar /rec advisory and facility optimization, manpower & project management.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
• Understand client requirements and translate them into practical, value-driven solutions
• Prepare proposals in coordination with technical and project teams
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Energy or related field)
• 0–5 years of experience in sales, consulting, or technical roles (Energy/HVAC preferred)
• Strong solution-selling and consultative mindset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage clients, understand needs, and guide decision-making
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies in energy and sustainability
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, motors, solar, or industrial energy systems
• Exposure to B2B, consultative, or technical sales
• Familiarity with digital or SaaS-based platforms
