Job Title : Microsoft 365 Engineer (Security & Governance Focus)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to support the delivery of a security-first Microsoft transformation program focused on governance, identity, collaboration security, and Copilot readiness.

The role will support the implementation and operationalization of Microsoft 365 environments including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview, while aligning to Zero Trust and enterprise governance standards.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, operationally strong, and experienced in enterprise Microsoft cloud environments with a focus on security, permissions, and governance.

Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft 365 Administration & Governance

• Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services including:
• SharePoint Online
• Microsoft Teams
• Exchange Online
• Microsoft 365 Groups
• OneDrive for Business
• Implement and maintain governance standards across collaboration platforms
• Support naming conventions, ownership policies, and lifecycle governance
• Assist with permission reviews and oversharing remediation

Identity & Access Management

• Support Entra ID administration and governance
• Implement Conditional Access policies
• Support MFA enforcement and identity security controls
• Assist with privileged access management and access reviews
• Maintain least-privilege access standards

SharePoint & Teams Security

• Review and remediate SharePoint permissions
• Configure external sharing controls
• Support Copilot-safe information architecture
• Assist with Teams governance and access alignment

Microsoft Purview & Compliance

• Support sensitivity label implementation
• Assist with label publishing and policy configuration
• Support auto-labeling pilot deployments
• Help validate classification and governance controls

Copilot Readiness Support

• Assist with Copilot governance preparation
• Support permissions and classification readiness validation
• Help validate AI access boundaries and governance controls

Documentation & Operational Support

• Produce technical documentation and runbooks
• Support operational governance processes
• Participate in client workshops and governance meetings
• Assist with reporting and remediation tracking
