URGENT HIRING: Healthcare Assistant in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Care & Daily Assistance

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Support mobility and transfers (bed to chair, walking assistance)
• Ensure residents are clean, comfortable, and well-positioned

2. Monitoring & Reporting

• Observe and report any changes in residents’ condition (physical, emotional, behavioral) to nurse/supervisor
• Record basic information such as food intake, output, and general condition

3. Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms, beds, and surrounding areas
• Follow infection control procedures and hygiene standards
• Ensure a safe environment to prevent falls and injuries

4. Support Medical & Nursing Team

• Assist nurses during basic procedures when required
• Prepare basic equipment and supplies for patient care

5. Emotional & Social Support

• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Encourage participation in activities and social interaction

6. Other Duties

• Assist with meal distribution and feeding support
• Follow shift schedules, handover procedures, and company policies
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Candidates from Sabah & Sarawak are welcome to apply (Foreigners also do)
• Minimum SPM or equivalent
• Experience in elderly care / healthcare setting preferred
• Physically fit and able to handle patient movement
• Compassionate, patient, and responsible
• Good communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
