RPG Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an RPG Developer to support and enhance business applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions while ensuring system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and application needs
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain applications and databases
• Coordinate with IT teams, associates, and consultants on project development
• Develop and maintain custom RPG applications and “green screen” systems
• Convert programs from RPG III to RPG IV/Free and RPG ILE as needed
• Provide recommendations for improving existing applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 1–4 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in RPG, RPG IV, RPG Free, ILE, CL, CLLE, RLU, and SDA
• Experience with SQL/400 and familiarity with Data Queue
• Understanding of online and batch processing systems
• Ability to read and analyze existing code for enhancements
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques is an advantage
• Experience with Aldon source control is a plus
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively in a team

Pay: RM4,004.69 - RM12,000.00 per month
