Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams in delivering banking solutions. The role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, supporting system implementation, and ensuring solutions meet regulatory, operational, and customer needs within the banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories)
• Work closely with stakeholders (business users, product owners, IT teams) to understand banking processes and pain points
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Support core banking system enhancements, digital banking initiatives, or regulatory projects
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement walkthroughs
• Perform gap analysis and propose solutions aligned with business objectives
• Support SIT, UAT, and production validation, including defect tracking and resolution
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare process flows, use cases, and system documentation
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal governance standards
• Assist in change management, release planning, and post-go-live support

Required Skills & ExperienceDomain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of banking products and operations, such as:
• Retail banking (accounts, loans, cards)
• Payments (FPX, DuitNow, SWIFT)
• Internet / mobile banking
• Compliance (KYC, AML, regulatory reporting)

Business Analysis Skills

• Requirements gathering & documentation (BRD, FRD, User Stories)
• Process mapping (As-Is / To-Be)
• Stakeholder management
• Gap analysis & solutioning
• UAT planning and execution

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data flows
• Basic knowledge of SQL / databases
• Experience with tools such as:
• Jira / Confluence
• Visio / *************
• Postman (API testing)

Methodologies

• Agile (Scrum) and/or Waterfall experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with core banking systems (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, Mambu, etc.)
• Exposure to digital banking or fintech projects
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM guidelines, Basel, IFRS)
• Experience working with regional or multi-country projects

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Certifications are a plus:
• CBAP / CCBA (IIBA)
• Agile / Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM)
• Banking-related certifications

Pay: RM5,046.37 - RM10,453.65 per month
