Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and physically fit Warehouse Assistant to join our operational team. This role combines daily warehousing logistics with technical hands-on tasks, specifically the assembly of manufacturing racks and data enclosures.
The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who can work independently, handle physical tasks efficiently, and maintain a strict commitment to workplace safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inventory & Material Handling: Move physical inventory and materials across facilities, workstations, and designated pick-up locations.
- Storage & Organization: Sort, organize, and store materials in proper locations, ensuring small items and accessories are stacked in dedicated zones.
- Order Processing: Process incoming and outgoing inventory for delivery, ensuring all items are securely packaged and correctly labeled.
- Technical Assembly: Assemble technical racks (including EzRack, Smart Rack, Wall Mount Casing, etc.) using hand/power tools and specialized assembly equipment.
- Quality & Logging: Update logs and documentation for stock-in/stock-out processes. Inspect inventory quality and report damaged or missing stock to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Mandatory wearing of safety shoes at all times and strict adherence to workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Certificate, High School Diploma, or equivalent. A Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics), Logistics, or a related technical field is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production warehouse environment.
- Skills Required:
- Proven knowledge of rack assembly (EzRack, Smart Rack, Wall Mount Casing, etc.).
- Skilled in handling manual/power tools and assembly equipment.
- Familiarity with basic inventory management and stock in/out documentation.
- Physical Demands: Physically fit and capable of handling manual labor, including standing, squatting, and climbing during the shift. Must be able to lift up to 20 kgs or more.
- Other Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Able to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
- License: Ability to operate a forklift is preferred (Forklift License is a distinct advantage).
Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM2,500.00 per month
