Job Summary:
The Secretary to the Financial Controller plays a key supporting role in the finance function by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information. This position works closely with the Financial Controller to support financial reporting, operational accounting, and compliance, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Financial Controller in daily operations.
- Manage schedules, appointments, meetings, and correspondence for the Financial Controller.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain confidential documents, reports, and financial records.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentation materials, and meeting minutes when required.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on behalf of the Financial Controller.
- Handle filing, documentation, and proper record-keeping to ensure organized administrative processes.
- Support the Finance Department with basic coordination and follow-up on finance-related matters.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, travel arrangements, and other administrative requirements.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative and secretarial duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in secretarial or administrative support; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
Added Advantage:
- Experience supporting senior management or finance personnel.
- Familiarity with basic finance or accounting documentation and processes.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
