Role and Responsibilities
Seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to establish and scale a credible, differentiated brand presence, strengthen market visibility, and support distributor-led growth across key markets. This role bridges brand building and commercial impact, focusing on elevating how company is perceived across distributors, dealers, and end-users in the agriculture, automotive and industrial belts segment.
· Brand Building & Positioning: Define and develop the company’s brand identity, ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints, elevate market perception from a “general supplier” to a “trusted industrial partner,” and drive strong product branding.
· Distributor & Channel Marketing: Develop co-marketing programs with distributors, create ready-to-use marketing kits (banners, catalogues, WhatsApp creatives, and POS materials), and support distributors in local campaigns, product promotions, and the development of technical education materials.
· Product Marketing: Translate technical features into clear, compelling, and sellable benefits, and support the sales team with strong product storytelling.
· Digital & Basic Presence Build-Up: Establish and maintain a strong digital presence across the website, LinkedIn, B2B platforms, and social media; develop simple yet consistent content (product highlights, use cases, and distributor stories); and improve brand discoverability and credibility.
· Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with effective pitch decks and tools, support key account presentations, and align marketing campaigns with revenue targets, ensuring marketing remains commercially driven—not just creative.
· Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors and regularly gather distributor feedback, and identify gaps in product perception, brand awareness, and channel effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements
· 5–8 years of experience in B2B marketing within industrial or automotive aftermarket sectors.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field.
· Experience working with distributors or channel partners, with the ability to support and grow channel-driven markets.
· Proven track record of elevating brand visibility and recognition, particularly in underdeveloped or untapped markets.
· Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of sales impact, combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
· Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners.
· Familiarity with global markets and cross-border marketing exposure is an added advantage.
· Willingness and ability to travel within Malaysia and internationally to support distributors and market activities.
