Job Description

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Prepare full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, journals).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with MPERS/MFRS.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting entries.
• Perform monthly closing activities and prepare management accounts.
• Prepare Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS).
• Assist in drafting Audited Financial Statements (AFS) schedules for external auditors.
• Ensure financial reports comply with statutory standards and firm’s internal SOP.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documents and information.
• Handle clients’ accounting queries professionally and promptly.
• Provide advice on accounting treatments and basic compliance matters.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping.
• Follow internal SOP, quality controls, and working paper standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with PDPA requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Good understanding of Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of MPERS, MFRS, SST, and Malaysian tax basics is an advantage.
• Experience in accounting software (SQL, Autocount, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple clients.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Training provided to fresh graduate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
