Penerangan Kerja

Tanggungjawab

  • Manage and support Oracle databases (19c / 23ai) across cloud and on-premise environments
  • Perform daily database administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor performance and optimize databases (SQL tuning, indexing, configurations)
  • Handle backup, recovery, cloning, and disaster recovery (RMAN, Data Guard)
  • Support incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Execute database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations
  • Maintain high availability systems (RAC, Data Guard)
  • Monitor system capacity, performance, and resource utilization
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
  • Ensure database security, compliance, and data protection standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation (24/7 support for critical systems)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure and application teams

What We’re Looking ForMust-Have Skills & Experience

  • ~5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Oracle 19c / 23ai
  • RMAN backup & recovery (including cloning/duplication)
  • Data Guard & RAC (high availability solutions)
  • ASM (storage management)
  • Performance tuning & troubleshooting
  • Installation, patching, and upgrades
  • Experience working with Linux environments (x86 systems)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of:
  • expdp/impdp (data migration tools)
  • Oracle OEM monitoring
  • Database security, TDE & TLS encryption
  • Basic scripting skills (Unix shell, Python, or PHP)
  • Working knowledge of PL/SQL (procedures, packages, functions)

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)

  • Exposure to PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Redis
  • Experience with Oracle APEX
  • Knowledge of Oracle 23c
  • Understanding of IT security practices and QA processes

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
