About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, including software development, system integration, and digital transformation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and fully aligned with our business and technical objectives. The ideal candidate will champion Agile practices, manage stakeholder expectations effectively, and ensure strict governance throughout the project lifecycle while collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals, and develop comprehensive plans covering timelines, resources, milestones, and risk management strategies.
• Execution & Coordination: Lead end-to-end project execution across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) while managing cross-functional teams (developers, QA, DevOps) and external vendors. Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitoring & Control: Monitor project progress using dashboards and Agile metrics (e.g., burn-down charts), tracking performance against scope, schedule, and budget baselines while providing regular executive updates.
• Financial Management: Develop project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness, track expenses, forecast costs, and maintain financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder & Risk Management: Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to communicate expectations, risks, and progress. Identify bottlenecks early and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
• Quality Assurance & Governance: Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality standards and compliance requirements. Oversee SIT and UAT testing phases and enforce project governance and best practices (Agile, SAFe).
• Documentation & Closure: Maintain detailed project documentation and meeting minutes. Manage project handover, deployment, post-implementation support, and conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably with a focus on software development, system support, or system integration.
• Hands-on experience utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project, D365 Project Operations, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong proven background in budgeting, cost control, and vendor management.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly advantageous.

Required Competencies & Skills

• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-driven work ethic, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
• Efficiency in Big Data integration and Power BI will be considered an added advantage.
