1. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Co-Project Associate (CPA) serves as a high-level strategic intermediary between ULTRUST Capital Resource (UCR) and potential corporate entities. The primary objective is to identify, filter, and facilitate high-value Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) mandates, Private Equity opportunities, and corporate divestments. As an Independent Contractor, the CPA operates with professional autonomy while adhering to UCR’s strict corporate governance and confidentiality protocols.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Asset Sourcing & Identification: Proactively identify "Listings" (Sellers) consisting of established private companies (Sdn Bhd) looking for exit strategies, equity liquidation, or strategic partnerships.
- Lead Generation (Purchasers): Identify and engage potential "Leads" (Purchasers) including Corporate Investors, Private Equity Firms, and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI).
- Strategic Intermediary: Act as the initial bridge between the asset owner/investor and UCR’s Technical Closing Team.
- Mandate Facilitation: Assist in securing exclusive mandates by introducing UCR’s value proposition to the board of directors or principal owners of target companies.
- Network Development: Establish and manage a network of "Internal Proxies" or sub-introducers to expand the pipeline of potential M&A deals.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Ensure all preliminary documentation provided by the client is accurate before transitioning the project to the UCR Technical Team for valuation.
3. REPORTING & ACCOUNTABILITY
- The CPA shall provide regular project updates and milestone reports to the Corporate & Business Development Officer (CBDO).
- Final project approvals and strategic direction are supervised by the Deputy Director of Corporate Development & Entrepreneurship (CODE).
- Maintain strict adherence to the Inter-Associate Agreement (IAA) and Non-Circumvention, Non-Disclosure & Fee Agreement (NCNDFA).
4. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS & ETHICS
- Confidentiality: Absolute compliance with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and corporate secrecy regarding "Blind Profiles" and sensitive financial data.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a high-standard corporate image during client engagements, representing the prestige of UCR.
- Independence: As an Independent Contractor, the CPA is responsible for their own operational costs, tax obligations, and time management, focusing on a result-oriented "Success Income" model.
5. COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
- This position is non-salaried.
- Compensation is based on a Success Income (Referral Income) model as outlined in the Inter-Associate Agreement (IAA), payable upon the successful completion (closing) of a transaction.
Pay: RM500,000.00 - RM2,500,000.00 per year
