As Accounts Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth accounts operations of our retail business. Your primary responsibilities will include handling full set accounts and managing subsidiary companies' financial matters. You will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Head of Operations Finance.

Responsibility

• Manage and maintain the full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Oversee the financial activities of subsidiary companies, including preparation of financial reports, consolidation of accounts, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to aid in decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budgetary targets, and providing variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all tax-related matters, including timely filing of tax returns and handling tax audits.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit periods, providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate the audit process.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date cash balances.
• Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA will be advantageous.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role in the retail industry, with at least 3 years of experience in full set accounts and subsidiary company management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards. Familiarity with relevant accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.
• Must be willing to work at Kajang.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
