Position Overview
The Sales & Marketing Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by leading both supply development and sales generation, while enhancing the company’s market presence through strategic marketing initiatives. This role requires a dynamic individual who can bridge operations, partnerships, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Lead and manage the team to achieve supply acquisition and sales targets
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline for waste supply sourcing to support optimal production capacity
- Identify and develop new sales channels for recycled and newly developed products
- Expand customer base while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, customers, and business partners
- Establish new networks to expand market reach and business opportunities
- Collaborate internally to ensure smooth communication and operational alignment
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Gather and analyze market trends, competitor insights, and industry developments
- Provide actionable insights to support business strategy and decision-making
Negotiation & Commercial Management
- Negotiate supply and sales agreements to achieve favorable commercial terms
- Optimize profitability and cash flow through effective deal structuring
Marketing & Brand Development
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility
- Drive activities under the “Karich Circularity Hub” to promote collaboration and business opportunities
- Strengthen company positioning as a leader in sustainability and circular economy
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and capabilities
- Ensure efficient utilization of departmental resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in:
- Waste management / recycling industry
- Polymer recycling or compounding
- Polymer trading
- Sustainability / circular economy-related roles
- Engineering, manufacturing, or R&D with commercial exposure
- Proven track record in sales and supply development
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to gather and interpret market intelligence
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
