JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To assist the Project Manager on all site matters i.e. planning, coordination or any site works
• To coordinate with all the consultants and contractors to coordinate C&S, M&E and Architectural drawings in compliance with contract requirements
• To oversee, supervise, co-ordinate and monitor the daily site operations, structural and architectural construction works at project site
• To monitor overall construction progress and update immediate superiors regularly on all site issues, problems and contractor’s performance
• To be present at site at all times and during all critical structural works such as concreting, fixing of reinforcement, installation and removal of temporary supports on all site related matters
• To attend and participate in coordination meetings to ensure implementation of project
• To maintain and ensure updated and proper project documentation
• To witness inspection, testing and commissioning activities by contractors/sub-contractors and consultants
• To collaborate with the consultants and all the relevant parties to procure the obtain of Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) for the Project
• To monitor and coordinate on all defect rectification works.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of working experience as a Site Engineer/Project Engineer or relevant role in construction or property development industry
• Possess sound technical knowledge of civil engineering, construction and design
• Articulate and proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
• IT/Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and CAD
• Able to work independently with high degree of integrity and accountability
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Pleasant disposition, resourceful, meticulous and able to multi-task to take on additional responsibilities to grow beyond core role
