Position Title: OSHA Coordinator cum Office Administrator
Department: Administration / Operation
Location: Triang, Pahang
Salary: RM2000 to RM3500
Job Summary:
The OSHA Coordinator cum Office Administrator primary responsible for coordinating and monitoring workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role includes conducting safety inspections, coordinating safety training, monitoring compliance with OSHA requirements, investigating incidents, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees. The Office Administrator work is mainly for assisting in daily administrative and clerical duties including document management, data entry, report preparation, filing, and supporting smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Health Compliance
· Ensure workplace cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
· Ensure company compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and company safety policies.
· Monitor workplace activities to identify unsafe conditions and unsafe practices.
· Conduct routine safety inspections and audits at workplace, workshop, warehouse, and operational areas.
· Implementing safety programs, procedures, and policies.
· Maintain and update safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.
Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
· Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC).
· Identify potential workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
· Implementation of preventive and corrective safety measures.
· Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees.
· Coordinate emergency response preparedness and evacuation procedures.
Incident & Accident Management
· Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases.
· Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
· Coordinate reporting of workplace incidents to management and relevant authorities when required.
Training & Awareness
· Coordinate safety induction for employees and contractors.
· Organize safety training programs, fire drills & emergency response exercises.
Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain accurate safety records including inspection reports, incident reports, training records, and audit findings.
· Monitor validity of licenses, permits, certifications, and safety-related documents.
Coordination & Communication
· Liaise with government authorities, contractors, suppliers, and external auditors regarding safety matters.
· Assist management during external audits and inspections.
Office Administration:
· Handle daily administrative and clerical tasks.
· Perform accurate data entry into the company system.
· Organize, file, and maintain company records and documents.
· Answer phone calls, emails, and manage correspondence.
· Assist in preparing reports, letters, and office documents.
· Manage office stationery and administrative supplies.
· Support and coordination of company operational and administrative matters.
· Liaise with customers, vendors, and internal departments when required.
· Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
· Certified OSHA Coordinator / Safety & Health related certification is an advantage.
· Minimum 1–3 years experiences in safety and health coordination.
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations, HIRARC, and workplace safety practices.
· Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
· Able to conduct inspections, investigations, and safety training.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in transport, logistics, workshop, manufacturing, or fleet industry.
· Knowledge of emergency response and accident investigation procedures.
· Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
