The position holder is responsible for checking the engineering datasheets of designers when required, assisting the production team, and E & I contractor(s) in technical clarifications and solutions to solve site problems, and assisting the commissioning team to solve E & I engineering problems

Key tasks:

• Carry out testing of all aspects of industrial generators, control panels, synchronizing panels, and fuel pump panels to ensure the product works to its specification.
• Setting up test bench and equipment includes load bank test on generators
• Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings/layout
• Require to generate factory and site test report
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and minor repairs during testing and commissioning
• Aliasing with project engineers/managers to schedule and coordinate works to tight deadline
• Supervising and leading junior staff
• Ensure a safe work environment at all times
• Any other related activities or responsibilities as assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Min 1-year experience in a related field
• Knowledge of genset controllers/PLCs is an added advantage
• Good Knowledge and experience of generators will be considered engineer role
• Possess a valid Singapore class 3 driving license
