The key responsibilities are to assist the Head of Home and Premises Manager managing the needs of the Home. It includes duties such as:

1. Prepare or assist with nutritious meals and snacks.

2. Assisting them in the serving of the meals to the residents and snacks during breaktime

3. Support children who need help with self-feeding.

4. Ensure children follow the personal dietary plans or restrictions (eg: lactose intolerance)

5. Be a team member in the ESR (Environment Sanitation Regime) by ensuring the areas and the equipment are clean.

6. Ensure the correct medication, in the correct dosage is administered to residents who are on medication. To record when medication is administered.

7. Residents in Sick Bay -

7.1 Ensure that medical disposals such as masks, wet wipes, tissues are in stock in the Sick Bay.

7.2 To wear protective clothing such as masks, gloves etc.

7.3 To take and monitor the temperature of the residents in the sick bay.

7.4 To wipe down and maintain hygiene in the Sick Bay. Special attention to the discarding of vomitus, mucus and other discharges.

7.5 To ensure that the residents in the sickbay does not come in contact with other residents or staff.

Pay: $2,750.00 - $2,900.00 per month
