We are seeking an experienced OpenText ECM/xECM Consultant to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions across complex, multi-organization environments. The role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, delivering end-to-end ECM implementations, and ensuring high-quality system delivery through testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and define business requirements related to processes, data, and information management.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, integrated solution designs, and system architectures.
• Design, develop, and implement OpenText ECM and xECM solutions across enterprise-scale environments.
• Provide technical leadership and end-to-end accountability for solution delivery in collaboration with Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Conduct business workshops to map processes to ECM capabilities, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Develop and execute unit testing, system testing, and integration testing to ensure solution quality before business handover.
• Collaborate with project teams to define project plans, effort estimation, and task breakdown.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues post-deployment and provide ongoing support.
• Ensure successful delivery of ECM projects across multiple industries, with preference for Oil & Gas environments.

Required Skills & Competencies

Core Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in OpenText ECM product suite implementation and support.
• Strong hands-on experience in medium to large-scale ECM/xECM projects.

OpenText Expertise

• Strong knowledge of OpenText ECM products including:
• Content Server
• xECM for SAP
• SAP Archiving
• SharePoint AGA
• Experience configuring at least 3 or more Content Server modules:
• Records Management
• Classifications / RM Classifications
• Workflows / Advanced Workflows
• LiveReports / Web Reports
• Forms
• Physical Objects

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in:
• JavaScript
• Core Java
• C#
• CSS
• Strong understanding of:
• SOAP / REST APIs
• WSDL / Web Services integration
• Database experience with:
• MS SQL Server / Oracle / DB2 / MySQL
• SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures

Infrastructure Knowledge

• Basic understanding of:
• Infrastructure sizing
• High Availability (HA)
• Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts

Additional Tools / Integrations

• Experience with collaborative tools such as:
• Brava for Content Server
• Brava for Microsoft SharePoint
• Brava Viewer for SAP
• OpenText Rendition Server (Blazon)
