Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR team in a manufacturing environment. The intern will assist in recruitment, employee engagement, training coordination, HR documentation, and external liaison with government departments or agencies. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical HR experience in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process: job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires, interns, and contract workers.
- Maintain and update HR documentation, employee records, and attendance data.
- Assist in HR administrative tasks, including leave management, overtime tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Support employee engagement activities such as company events, training, and welfare programs.
- Help prepare HR-related reports, presentations, and communications.
- Provide support in official dealings with government departments, statutory bodies, and external agencies (e.g., immigration, labor office, PERKESO, EPF, MITI, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to ensure smooth HR operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
