Position : Business Analyst

Industry : Oil & Gas (Shared Service)

Location: Mercu Aspire, KL Eco City

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (0830 t*************)

Employment Type: Contract with PERSOL Until 31 January 2027 - possible extension based on performance

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (60/40)

Salary range : RM10,000 - RM12,500 (based on experience & qualification)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum) and deep expertise in business requirements analysis and engineering. This role focuses heavily on customer‑facing mobile applications and loyalty ecosystems, working closely with business, product, design, and engineering teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business & functional requirements
• Analyse As‑Is processes and design To‑Be solutions across business and technology domains, including:
• Loyalty & rewards platforms
• Mobile application journeys
• Pricing & promotional mechanics
• Data exports, ownership, and integration touchpoints
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
• Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with UX designers and engineers to align requirements with customer journeys and technical feasibility
• Define end‑to‑end integration test scenarios and support UAT planning and execution
• Work hands‑on with technology teams to ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives and customer experience expectations
• Perform process analysis and solution analysis across multiple technology platforms (consumer‑facing and supply‑chain systems)
• Act as a subject matter expert, translating stakeholder needs into actionable delivery outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related field
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven experience as an Agile Business Analyst, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies
• Strong expertise in requirements engineering (user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements)
• Experience delivering customer‑facing digital products, especially mobile applications
• Solid domain expertise in loyalty platforms, rewards, or customer engagement ecosystems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• Experience supporting integration testing and UAT
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or JIRA
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead with minimal guidance

Nice to Have

• Fuel retail or downstream retail domain experience
• Strong UI/UX understanding, including wireframes, prototypes, and customer journey mapping
• Experience working in large‑scale Agile programs or multi‑team environments
• Exposure to digital analytics, customer data, or personalization platforms
• Previous collaboration with Product Managers in product‑led teams
