Core Responsibilities & Duties

• Technical Support: Acting as the first point of contact for employee technical issues via a help desk system.
• Hardware/Software Setup: Installing, configuring, and upgrading laptops, computers, printers, and software applications.
• Network Maintenance: Supporting network connectivity (Wi-Fi, switches, AP) and basic server monitoring.
• User Training & Documentation: Providing guidance to staff on IT systems and maintaining accurate records of technical issues.
• Inventory & Security: Managing IT asset inventories and contributing to data backup routines.
• Vendor Support: Communicating with vendors for repairs or purchasing new hardware/software. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Requirements & Skills

• Education: A diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and networking basics (LAN/WAN).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience: Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is often preferred. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
