We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in data center projects, to join our engineering team. The role involves the design and coordination of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop fire protection systems (sprinkler, suppression, hydrant, and related systems)

Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

Ensure designs comply with local and international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, FM, local authority requirements)

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors

Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project coordination activities

Support site inspections, testing, and commissioning when required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience

Experience in fire protection system design is required

Data center project experience is highly preferred

Familiarity with engineering software and AutoCAD/Revit is an advantage

Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, and local fire safety regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
