Job – Objective / Position Description:

  • Take lead in overall marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Coordinate and monitor overall public relation matters and corporate communications affairs.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance of corporate image and branding in line with franchise (brands) requirements.

Required to- DO (Key Result Areas & Activities)

1. Marketing Communication Plan

· Study the objectives, promotional policies and needs of organizations to develop Public Relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, products and services positively.

· Maintain the company's corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos, signage and etc.

· Plan and direct development and communication of informational programs to maintain favourable stakeholder perceptions of our company's accomplishments and agenda.

To ensure the marketing plans and activities are implemented effectively.

2. Manage Marketing Budget and Advertising Suppliers

· Plan and manage Marketing Communications and Public Relation budgets.

· Assisting in strategic planning for brand’s monthly / quarterly / yearly promotions, etc

· Negotiates with media agencies and other vendors to ensure strong development and execution of marketing campaigns.

· Edits materials according to approved specific requirements.

· Liaison with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media for products, organizations, or individuals.

3. Manage Corporate Communications Activities

· Manage Public Relations efforts and ensure all standard operating procedures are in place.

· Manage special events such as sponsorship, opening of new outlets, launching of new products, or other activities effectively to gain public attention through various media.

· Ensure effective internal and external communication systems are in place.

· Observe and report on market trends that might affect the Company’s operations.

4. Manage Networking

· Represent the company in undertaking major PR activities, press conference and other external communications initiative.

· Assist in carrying out marketing strategies to increase product and service awareness and to promote goodwill.

· Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumers, and employees.

· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.

Others :

· Perform any other additional responsibilities as assigned by the Immediate Superior or the Brand BUL.

Required to - KNOW (Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours)

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations or Communications is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of related working experiences in a supervisory role preferably in F&B or retail related industry.
  • Exposure in client servicing background in advertising firms is a plus.
  • Possess Marketing management and strategic planning experience with ability to develop and rollout end-to-end marketing plans.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills to maintain good relationship with diverse staffs and customers.
  • Possess F&B industry knowledge and familiar with different strategies used by industry players and competitors. Has sound knowledge in Windows-based computer applications, media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
  • Possess good writing skills in English and able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Possess exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, mature, with excellent analytical & quantitative skills
  • Team player with good negotiation, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Self-discipline and self-motivated with dynamic personality to always strive for better results.
  • Able to analyse and present plan and ideas in a convincing and impactful manner, ultimately influencing a positive outcome.
  • Recognize and be responsive to the needs of all internal & external customers of the organization.
  • Possess enthusiasm in learning and keen to get feedback for improvement.
  • Possess leadership qualities to lead, communicate and motivate restaurant team towards meeting/ exceeding the marketing goals and objectives.
  • May require to work during weekends and public holidays for promotion events.

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
