Responsibilities
Job Scope: Clinic Assistant
1. Patient Registration & Front Desk
* Register walk-in and appointment patients
* Manage patient records (manual or computerized system)
* Collect basic patient information (name, ID, address, symptoms)
* Handle patient queue and appointment flow
2. Assist Doctor
* Prepare medical equipment before consultation
* Assist doctor during procedures (e.g., wound dressing, injections)
* Take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
* Prepare and dispense medication as instructed
3. Medication & Inventory Management
* Organize and store medicines properly
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages
* Ensure no expired medications are used
* Assist in dispensing medication to patients
4. Administrative Duties
* Handle payments (cash, card, EFT, panel/LO)
* Issue receipts and invoices
* Prepare documents such as medical certificates (MC), referral letters, and reports
* Answer phone calls and respond to clinic WhatsApp
5. Clinic Cleanliness & Safety
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the clinic
* Clean and sterilize medical equipment
* Follow infection control procedures (SOP)
* Dispose of clinical waste properly
6. Customer Service
* Provide friendly and professional service to patients
* Explain basic procedures clearly
* Handle patient inquiries and complaints professionally
7. Additional Duties
* Assist in health programs or clinic campaigns
* Manage follow-up appointments
* Perform any other duties assigned by management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
