Position : Software Engineer (C# .Net)

Salary : RM 4,500 – RM 6,000

Location : Uptown Damansara, PJ

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer (C# .NET) to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. The role involves working with both modern .NET Core and legacy systems, as well as integrating applications with MS SQL and Firebird databases to deliver reliable and high-performance software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C# and .NET (Core and/or Framework)
  • Build new features with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Design, optimize, and manage database queries for MS SQL and Firebird
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Web Services for system integration
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues and software defects
  • Write clean, maintainable code and prepare technical documentation
  • Collaborate with teams in an Agile/Scrum environment (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews)
  • Support system enhancements, migrations, and ad-hoc development tasks

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong experience in C# and .NET (Core and/or Framework)
  • Experience in RESTful API development and integration
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning
  • Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with version control tools such as Git/Bitbucket and task tracking tools like Jira
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
