Job Summary
The Logistics & Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing the movement, storage, and control of materials and goods to ensure smooth operational flow. This role supports inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, supplier coordination, and documentation for logistics and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Materials Control
- Manage and maintain accurate records of materials stored at office, site stores, and temporary holding areas
- Ensure proper labelling, organization, and tracking of all incoming and outgoing materials
- Monitor stock levels across multiple locations and highlight shortages or excess stock
- Conduct periodic stock checks and reconciliation between physical and system records
2. Logistics Coordination
- Arrange and coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries
- Liaise with transporters, forwarders, and suppliers for timely shipments
- Ensure delivery schedules are met according to operational requirements
- Prepare and verify delivery orders, invoices, and shipping documents
3*. Documentation & Reporting*
- Maintain proper filing system for DO, invoices, and logistics records
- Prepare regular inventory and logistics reports
- Support audit and compliance documentation when required
4. Operational Support
- Support project teams with material readiness and dispatch planning
- Provide on-site support for urgent operational needs as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and warehouse procedures
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related field
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management preferred
- Able to handle physically demanding tasks and support site operations, including but not limited to loading and unloading of goods
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and record-keeping and basic inventory systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Possession of own transport (motorcycle/car)
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
- Able to manage multiple tasks and respond to ad-hoc requests efficiently
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
