Project Manager Kuala Lumpur - Onsite

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards

Planning & Governance

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and success criteria
• Assign responsibilities and ensure accountability across project teams
• Track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for seamless execution
• Conduct regular project meetings, ensuring alignment and progress tracking
• Provide coaching and mentorship to project team members

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and resource utilization
• Oversee quality assurance and testing outcomes prior to production deployment
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly project status reports to management

Communication & Coordination

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across departments
• Lead weekly departmental meetings, tracking progress and addressing challenges
• Ensure clear communication of project updates, risks, and dependencies

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Strong command of English (written and verbal)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent is preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in project management
• Proven experience in IT projects within financial services (investment banking exposure is a plus)
• Hands-on experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
