Position: Site Engineer

Location: All Semenanjung Area

Job Summary

We are seeking a committed and experienced Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate daily site activities for civil and pipeline-related projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in slope protection, civil structural works, soil investigation works, and quality documentation, while ensuring project progress, safety compliance, and quality standards are achieved.

Requirements

Candidates should be accustomed to and experienced in the following:

• Slope works – construction and maintenance of slopes along pipeline routes
• Civil structural works – dissipator block and wing wall construction
• Gabion wall installation
• Gabion mattress installation
• Soil Investigation (S.I.) works including:
• Hand Auger
• Soil Penetration Test
• Field Density Test
• Stone pitching works
• Preparation and handling of:
• Vendor Deliverable Registered List (VDRL)
• Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
• Inspection Test Records (ITR)

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily site activities.
• Monitor and ensure work progress is carried out according to project schedule and specifications.
• Record daily site activities, manpower attendance, and material usage.
• Ensure all site safety rules and regulations are complied with by workers and visitors at all times.
• Assist in resolving on-site issues and report any critical matters to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate delivery, handling, and proper storage of materials at site.
• Liaise with Clients regarding quality inspections during work progress, including but not limited to:
• Request for Inspection (RFI) issuance
• Material Receiving Inspection
• Prepare and compile final project documentation upon completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in pipeline or civil infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
• Able to work at assigned project locations across Semenanjung Malaysia.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Must possess or be able to obtain OGSP, CIDB Green Card, and other relevant certifications
• Familiarity with Petronas Technical Standards (PTS), OGSP, and Malaysian codes of practice is a strong advantage
