Project / Site Engineer

Role Summary
The Project / Site Engineer leads and oversees daily construction site operations to ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, programmes, and contractual requirements. Acts as the primary operational link between site execution and HQ governance through accurate progress, issue, and risk reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all daily site construction activities.
• Allocate and manage site resources, subcontractors, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Implement and monitor the construction programme; identify delays and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and consultant approvals; manage non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate site reporting, documentation, and records.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and HQ teams on progress and issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Infrastructure or related field.
• At least 3 years experience in managing site execution for medium - large projects.
• Proven experience managing site execution for medium–large projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, quality control, and HSE practices.
• Effective communicator with good organisational and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
