Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automation Control Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced PLC-based control systems for non-standard automation equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on global projects and contribute to high-impact manufacturing automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain PLC control software for automation equipment
• Program and configure PLCs (Mitsubishi, Omron, Inovance) and HMI systems
• Design and implement motion control logic; test and optimize system performance
• Develop automation communication protocols and CIM/SECS integration solutions
• Evaluate and introduce alternative PLCs, drivers, and motor solutions
• Design electrical circuits, assemble control panels, and maintain hardware BOM
• Provide on-site support for equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in non-standard automation machinery development and implementation
• Proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation systems

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Omron, Inovance)
• Hands-on experience with HMI development and integration
• Solid understanding of automation electrical components selection and application
• Experience with motion control systems and industrial communication protocols
• Familiarity with CIM/SECS/GEM systems is a strong advantage

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
