About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Management Specialist to lead the organization’s quality management functions and drive operational excellence. This role is responsible for overseeing the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with international standards, and strengthening overall product and process quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company-wide Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent compliance with customer, regulatory, and international standards.
• Report directly to the COO on quality performance, operational risks, compliance matters, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategic quality plans aligned with business and operational objectives.
• Drive quality assurance and quality control improvements across manufacturing and operational processes.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer audits, and internal quality requirements.
• Collaborate closely with operations, production, supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
• Monitor quality KPIs, analyze trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution with effective corrective actions.
• Lead internal and external quality audits and maintain proper quality documentation and reporting systems.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality management team.
• Promote a strong quality culture and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role with direct exposure to executive management.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience handling customer audits, compliance requirements, and operational quality improvements.
• Proficiency in quality reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
