As part of their growing team, they are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Executive to support their finance function in Penang.

Job Overview

As an Accounts Receivable Executive, you will be responsible for managing customer collections, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring timely payment reconciliation. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s overall finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up with customers on overdue payments and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Reconcile AR sub-ledger balances with the general ledger.
  • Monitor and manage customer credit balances and payment status.
  • Prepare monthly aging reports and support month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and update customer account information.
  • Assist in preparing audit documentation and supporting finance compliance requirements.
  • Provide administrative and office support related to finance operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, credit control, or related finance functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Good communication and follow-up skills when dealing with customers.
  • Responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
