We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer (Java & Python) to join a fast-paced AI-driven engineering environment. This role focuses on building high-performance backend systems, integrating AI/ML services, and developing scalable APIs that power mission-critical enterprise workflows.

You will play a key role in designing event-driven architectures, optimizing data systems, and integrating AI inference services into production-grade backend platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Build high-performance REST & gRPC APIs using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3
• Develop Python-based AI/ML services for inference, RAG pipelines, and data processing
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and/or Temporal
• Develop reactive and non-blocking services using Spring WebFlux
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL databases (PostgreSQL + pgvector)
• Work with Redis, object storage (MinIO/S3), and distributed systems
• Build and maintain ETL, analytics, and data integration pipelines
• Ensure secure system design using OAuth2, JWT, and Keycloak
• Support high availability systems targeting 99.95% uptime
• Collaborate in an AI-assisted development environment using modern tools

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5–8 years of backend engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot 3 / Java 21)
• Strong experience in Python for backend or AI/ML integration
• Advanced SQL expertise (PostgreSQL, query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, and API orchestration patterns
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral AI, Meta AI)
• Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an advantage
• Strong debugging, analytical, and system design skills
