About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is open to Malaysians residing in Johor Bahru. The Field Service Technician ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of our smart vending machine fleet across Singapore and Johor Bahru (Malaysia). You will be responsible for both cleanliness, stocking and technical maintenance — from installing and servicing machines to managing supplies, electrical troubleshooting and coordinating with key partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical & Operational Duties

• Install and set up new vending machines at customer locations
• Perform routine servicing, cleaning, and restocking of machines to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and complete electrical/mechanical repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct regular system checks to prevent downtime and machine-related issues

Administrative Support

• Update inventory records for goods, spare parts, and consumables
• Assist in procurement planning for machine supplies and maintenance tools
• Maintain accurate logs of servicing, repairs, and machine usage

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with gym partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Schedule and coordinate machine servicing with minimal disruption to gym operations

REQUIREMENTS

Must have

• Own motorbike, equipped with a rack/delivery bag for carrying goods and valid for entry to Singapore daily (VEP registered)
• Must be willing to travel between 5-9 locations a day, including Johor Bahru and Singapore. Please note that around 90% of your servicing duties will be in Singapore.
• Responsible and disciplined to uphold high servicing standards
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on technical skills
• Prior hands-on experience and interest in electronic/mechanical repairs
• Basic computer and data entry skills, including the use of tools (Microsoft / Google Documents and Sheets)
• Good communication and coordination skills. Able to speak and write/type English well, in order to communicate with the team.

Preferred

• Malaysian residing in Johor Bahru
• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field is an advantage
• Prior experience with vending machines or similar equipment is an advantage
• Prior experience travelling around or working in Singapore

COMPENSATION

Base Salary: S$1,800 - S$2,000 (roughly RM5500 - 6200)

Vehicle Servicing & Fuel allowance: S$180
