Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of REST/SOAP APIs.
• Validate request and response data using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Create and execute API test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using bug tracking tools.
• Verify API response codes, payloads, authentication, and error handling.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements.
• Assist in regression, integration, and system testing activities.
• Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
• Ensure software quality standards and testing best practices are followed.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of API testing concepts.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
